New in QuickFeedback: Growing Your List turns happy customers into email subscribers

A customer scans your QR code after a great visit. They tell you the food was excellent, the service was friendly, or the appointment went exactly as hoped.
You hear the feedback. They can leave a public review. And then, until now, the interaction ended. Today we are adding a third possible win.
Growing Your List lets happy customers choose to stay in touch with your business while they are already giving you feedback.
If they want to hear from you again, they can leave their email address and give permission for your business to contact them. The lead appears in a new Leads page inside QuickFeedback, ready to search, manage, and export.
No separate signup form. No clipboard on the counter. No asking your staff to remember one more thing.
Growing Your List QuickFeedback: One Customer Moment, One More Way to Grow
QuickFeedback has always been built around the moment when a customer is already thinking about their experience.
If something went wrong, you want to hear about it while there is still time to make the next visit better. If everything went well, you want to make it easy for the customer to share that experience publicly.
Growing Your List adds another useful outcome for the positive path: the customer can ask to hear from you again.
For a restaurant, that might mean hearing about a new menu or a special event. For a salon, it might be seasonal offers. For a studio, shop, or local service business, it might simply be a reason for a good customer to come back.
The point is not to collect as many email addresses as possible. The point is to build a list of customers who actually chose to stay connected.
How it works for the customer
The feedback flow stays simple.
A customer scans your QuickFeedback QR code and submits positive feedback.
On the thank-you screen, they see a new “Stay in touch” card.
They can enter an email address and, if you choose to ask for it, an optional name.
They check an unchecked consent box that names your business and explains that you may email them news and offers.
They tap “Sign me up.”
You can customize the message, the consent wording, the confirmation message, and an optional incentive line. You can also decide separately which QR codes should ask customers to join your list.
Growing Your List is off by default, so nothing changes until you choose to turn it on.
The public review option never disappears
This part matters to us.
Growing Your List does not sit between a customer and the public review option. The review button remains visible throughout the positive flow, and it stays the strongest action on the screen.
A customer does not have to join your list to leave a review. They do not have to leave a review to join your list. Saying “No thanks” to the email signup changes nothing about the public review options they can reach.
QuickFeedback does not gate reviews. Every customer can still reach the same public review destinations regardless of what they told you privately.
The email signup is simply another optional action for a customer who wants the relationship to continue.
A new Leads page in your dashboard
Every signup lands in the new Leads page.
You can see the customer’s email address, name when they provided one, the QR code that captured the signup, and the feedback connected to the most recent signup. You can search by name or email and filter the list by QR code or date range.
If the same email address signs up again later, QuickFeedback updates the existing lead instead of creating a second person. That keeps the list useful instead of turning it into a pile of duplicates.
The dashboard also shows list growth, including how many happy customers saw the ask and how many joined your list, so you can see whether the feature is actually working for your business.
Export the list and use the email tool you already have
Phase one is intentionally simple. QuickFeedback collects the lead and gives you the list. It does not try to become your email marketing platform.
When you are ready to use the contacts, export them to CSV. The export respects the search and filters you have selected, so you can export the full list or a specific group.
The file includes the customer’s signup dates, source QR code, and the consent wording associated with the signup, along with the name and email address.
You can then import the list into the email tool you already use.
We are also collecting requests for future email-tool integrations. We will use that demand to decide what should come next rather than building integrations nobody asked for.
Why we built it this way
Most email-list advice starts by trying to find strangers.
Run an ad. Add a website popup. Create a lead magnet. Ask someone who has never visited your business to give you their email address.
Those methods have their place. But an in-person business already has another audience walking through the door every day: its customers.
When one of those customers has just told you they had a good experience, that is a natural moment to ask one small question: would you like to hear from us again?
Some will say no. That is fine. The ones who say yes are giving you something much more useful than an address scraped from somewhere else. They are giving you permission to continue a relationship that already exists.
A QR code should not just send someone somewhere. It should create a useful moment between a customer and the business they just visited.
With QuickFeedback, that moment can now lead to honest private feedback, a public review, a chance to make a bad experience right, or a customer who wants to hear from you again.
